Based on an acclaimed graphic novel, Mar & Avril is set in Montreal of the future, at the dawn of the firt human landing on Mar, and tells the story of a musician who becomes obsessed with his muse.
       Set in a futuristic environment, "Mar et Avril" tells the story of an elderly musician and his intrument maker who both become obsessed with the same woman. She agrees to be the model for their next musical intrument but then gets lost in a virtual world on the way to Mar.

Mars et Avril takes place in a Montreal of the future when humanity is ready to move to Mars. But, not everyone is ready to go. Jacob Obus, a charismatic and beloved septuagenarian, leader of the anti-cybernetic movement, takes pride in slowing down time. He plays captivating music on instruments inspired by women’s bodies and designed by his friend, Arthur.
