" Father and son " TCK movie about Zhao Yidan and his wife Wang Hong with his son Zhao Haiyang in 2000 technology immigrated to Canada in Toronto, Zhao Haiyang was 7 years old. Zhao Yidan and his wife Wang Hong to his son Zhao Haiyang gave up in mainland China, stable job and comparatively well-off life, full of hope and confidence of immigrants to Canada Toronto.
In the ensuing years, Zhao a bomb has not find a place in society, can only rely on the original manual work for the students. However, his wife Wang Hong have a strong ability to adapt, and soon entered the mainstream society. Between husband and wife in the mind gradually diverge, in life less and less common language, and the breakdown of the feelings, lead to divorce.
After the divorce, Zhao played with the most original work day in and day out to take care of his only son Zhao Haiyang, he strain every nerve all can give son all selfless dedication, including his own marriage problems because the son has not been resolved.

Third culture kid (TCK, 3CK) is a term coined in the early 1950s by American sociologist and anthropologist Ruth Hill Useem "to refer to the children who accompany their parents into another society". Other terms, such as trans-culture kid or Global Nomad are also used by some. More recently, American sociologist David C. Pollock developed the following description for third culture kids:
 
A Third Culture Kid (TCK) is a person who has spent a significant part of his or her developmental years outside the parents' culture. The TCK frequently builds relationships to all of the cultures, while not having full ownership in any. Although elements from each culture may be assimilated into the TCK's life experience, the sense of belonging is in relationship to others of similar background.
