    Storyline:秀才唐敖考场失意，随妻兄林之洋出海做生意。船行至一荒岛，唐敖上岛游玩遇猛虎，危急之际被一名叫红蕖的少女解救，红蕖送给唐一棵仙草——蹑空草。此时，帆船遭到两名海盗劫持，林之洋及船工多九公被围，唐敖在蹑空草的帮助下，赶走了海盗。
