Storyline:《学校怪谈》是日本富士电视台于2000年10月22日～2001年3月25日之期间播放的电视动画片。同年8月24日制作特别节目。艺术家工作室（スタジオぴえろ）（现在的ぴえろ）制作。平均收看率12.2％，最高收看率14.0％。 概要 与至今把吓唬小孩作为目的作品不同，以作为主角的孩子们击退妖怪为主要内容，击退妖怪的方法被公认为新鲜的故事。此外，令人意外的结果也不少。 节目完成度高，被公认有美丽的人物构图，在播放结束经过数年的现在仍然可以听到希望重新播放与希望能有续篇的声音，是一部高人气的电视动画。 整体风格类似与《虫师》，让人看后对那些因为怨恨而不能成佛的鬼的经历感到惋惜。
