Storyline:叛逆少年哈勒姆（杰米·贝尔饰）每天从树屋偷窥豪宅里继母行踪，受到继母色诱后，恼羞成怒逃家到爱丁堡，竟撞见一名酷似母亲年轻时模样的美丽女子凯特，并帮他在饭店找到一份糊口工作。哈蓝偷偷栖身在饭店屋顶的锺楼里，恣意穿梭在古城的阶梯窄巷间，寻找属于自己的乐园，同时也透过望远镜发现凯特原来就住在对窗。全片宛如背景衬着英式摇滚的爱丁堡老街完全漫游手册，迷人至极。
